SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro-IN-9, an aldehyde, is a broad-spectrum cyclopropane-based inhibitor of coronavirus 3C-like proteases (3CL pro ). SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro-IN-9 inhibits SARS-CoV-2 , SARS-CoV-1 and MERS-CoV 3CL pro with IC 50 values of 140 nM, 350 nM, 120 nM, respectively. SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro-IN-9 inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication with an IC 50 value of 11 nM [1] .
SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro-IN-9 (compound 11c) has a CC 50 of >100 μM in confluent cells [1] .
