Summary
Caspase-3/7 activator 1 is an effective activator of Caspase-3/7 . Caspase-3/7 activator 1 inhibits Wi-38, Caco-2 and HepG-2 cells with IC 50 values of 11.195 µM, 0.088 µM, 0.115 µM, respectively. Caspase-3/7 activator 1 has tumor selectivity, anti-proliferative activity and high Apoptosis -inducing ability [1] .

In Vitro
Caspase-3/7 activator 1 (Compound 7a) (0.06 μM; 72 h) significantly inhibits the expression of apoptosis inhibitor Bcl2 in Caco-2 cells (down-regulates Bcl2 by 0.471 folds). Caspase-3/7 activator 1 insignificantly effects the morphology of Caco-2 and HepG-2 cells
