Summary

4-O-Methylsappanol is a natural isoflavonoid with antifungal activities. 4-O-Methylsappanol shows activity against Beauveria bassiana ^[1] . 4-O-Methylsappanol ( EC ₅₀ of 4.6 µM) strongly suppresses Melanin ( Melanin ) synthesis in HMV-II cells ^[2] .

In Vitro

4-O-Methylsappanol shows moderate cytotoxicities against HMV-II cells with an IC ₅₀ value of 20.2 µM ^[2] .
