Negletein is a neuroprotectant enhances the action of nerve growth factor and induces neurite outgrowth in PC12 cells. Negletein shows promising anti-inflammatory activity via inhibition of TNF-α and IL-1β with IC 50 values of 16.4 and 10.8 μM, respectively [1] .
