MIM-1 is an inhibitor of myeloid cell factor 1 ( Mcl-1 ).
Mcl-1 |
MIM-1 selectively targets the BH3 binding groove of Mcl-1, with Bak-dependent apoptotic activity. To estimate the sensitivity of HA and T98G cells to the apoptosis inhibitor MIM-1, the colorimetric MTT assay is used to detect cell viability and to determine the IC 50 value. The IC 50 value of the HA cell line is almost 5-fold lower (16.10 µM) compared with the IC 50 of the T98G cell line (80.20 µM) after MIM-1 inhibitor treatment.
MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
