Summary

Fludrocortisone acetate (9α-Fludrocortisone acetate) is a synthetic mineralocorticoid, used to control the amount of sodium and fluids in your body. It is used to treat Addison's disease by decreasing the amount of sodium that is lost (excreted) in your urine, also used to increase blood pressure.
